My Space Cadet

I have to brag. I'm just so proud of her.

The other night, my wife, Stephanie, was featured on the local CBS and FOX news broadcasts in her role as the Manager of Communications and Media Relations for the Space Foundation, headquartered here in Colorado Springs.

"We are all so very excited!" she said, all smiles. "It is the 'Vision for Space Exploration' in reality. We've been talking about it for so long and now...exploration is finally continuing."

After a two and a half year absence following the disintegration of shuttle Colombia, this summer momentously ushers in a new era of space exploration and NASA's visionary thrust for planting a human footprint on Mars. When the shuttle lifts off its Cape Canaveral launch pad in just under two weeks time, Stephanie will be there to see it.

I'm just so proud of her.

I am very glad that her new job still allows her to go see the launch!

Dear Stephanie:

And Brandon too, but we are particularly proud of you Stephanie! You are a good representative for the Space Foundation and we are honored to know you.

God bless you on your journey to the Cape. You are a part of history.
