This is part of why I decided to try to join the Foreign Service. I may not make a huge difference all by myself, but if I get in, I can make a difference. And every little bit helps.
Then there's trying to live a life that contributes instead of just extracts, no matter where.
Well said, Robin. That's why I've made a recent decision to change career paths myself. (Environmental engineering here I come! Maybe? Hope?)
