Blogging Means Always Having to Say You’re Sorry

I owe you all an apology. I have been woefully absent the last half year and I have heard from many of you who are unhappy with my negligence. I am flattered by your feelings. I suppose I did not realize how much of my free time would be devoured by my studies and the advent of beginning to write my film reviews professionally — an occurrence that coincided precisely with the precipitous dip in my blogging.

It is my solemn and abiding wish to remedy the situation straight away. I want to write more and write often. I cannot promise it will be as much as I have in the past. In fact, I can almost guarantee that it will not. And yet, with so much going on, especially in the world of politics — a maelstrom I am now dead center in the midst of — I cannot wait to add my unsolicited, but implausibly desired opinion.
